Bagaimana seorang putri duyung dari era Joseon bertahan di Seoul modern? Shim Chung adalah putri duyung yang mendapati dirinya ditransplantasikan ke zaman modern. Dia ditangkap oleh Heo Joon Jae, seorang penipu yang menawan tetapi dingin yang merupakan doppelgänger untuk Kim Moon, putra seorang bangsawan dari Dinasti Joseon. Namun di masa sekarang, Joon Jae bekerja dengan Jo Nam Doo, penipu ulung yang memandu Joon Jae menjadi penipu jenius.
